People are welcoming and will greet you at the door. At the welcome desk, you can receive basic information about Bible studies and small groups (called LIFT Groups). Clothing is casual, and you will find everyone is friendly and ready to assist you with any need you have.
John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Likewise, Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[b] Christ Jesus our Lord.” You can become a Christian by accepting the reality that you are a sinner and asking Jesus to forgive you and to give you a new life.

You become a member with two easy steps: First, you should speak with the pastor about your desire to become a member of the church. Each individual will share his or her story about how, when and where they started following Jesus. After you share your story, you will learn about the basic teachings of the church. You will also learn about the vision of Village Baptist and how you can join God in both the community and the church. Of course, along the way, discussion and questions are welcome.

Second, you will come forward in a Sunday worship service to demonstrate your desire to stand with Christ and this church. At that time the congregation will vote for your acceptance.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Church membership is not required.
Our office hours are 8:00 to 12:00 Monday through Thursday. After hours, you may leave a message on the answering machine and someone will reach out to you as soon as possible. Please leave your name and a phone number.
We are a Southern Baptist Church.
Through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program and special offerings we support more than 3,500 international missionaries serving with the International Mission Board, and more than 5,000 missionaries who serve with the North American Mission Board in the United States and Canada.
We are stewards of God’s blessings. When we give back to Him, we reach, renew and restore in the name of Christ. Our gifts promote God’s Kingdom in real lives and in real geographical locations.

Opportunities to contribute are given each Sunday morning and online.

In the event of dangerous weather (snow, ice, etc.), you can look for our closing to be listed on 40/29 news (it will scroll across the TV screen), and check our Village Baptist Church Facebook page.
